Liberation Farms Cornmeal

A traditional, stone-milled cornmeal used to make African Muufo Flatbreads. Maine Grains purchases this flint corn from Liberation Farms in Wales, Maine — which supports over 200 Somali Bantu families growing fresh produce and grains to build food and economic security for their community.

In addition to our purchase of corn, we will contribute 5% of proceeds from this cornmeal back to the Somali Bantu Community Association, which provides resources to new farmers seeking to grow food for themselves, their families, and their communities.
