Blonde Rye Brownies (Blondies)

Who doesn’t like brownies? This is just one of Legacy Acres amazing treats.


1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup light brown sugar
1 egg
2 tsp vanilla
Dry Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup Maine Grains Rye Flour
3/4 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 cups chocolate chips


  1. Preheat oven to 365 degrees
  2. Grease an 8″ x 8″ pan – you can line with parchment
  3. Stir together butter and sugar
  4. Add egg and vanilla  and stir till egg is mostly blended in
  5. Add the dry ingredients and combine.
  6. Stir in your chocolate chips.
  7. Spread evenly into your pan and bake for 20 – 25 minutes
