Blonde Rye Brownies (Blondies)

Who doesn’t like brownies? This is just one of Legacy Acres amazing treats.
Ingredients
1⁄2 cup butter, melted
1 cup light brown sugar
1 egg
2 tsp vanilla
- Dry Ingredients:
1 1⁄2 cup Maine Grains Rye Flour
3⁄4 tsp sea salt
1⁄2 tsp baking powder
2 cups chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 365ºF.
- Grease an 8″ x 8″ pan – you can line with parchment.
- Stir together butter and sugar.
- Add egg and vanilla and stir till egg is mostly blended in.
- Add the dry ingredients and combine.
- Stir in your chocolate chips.
- Spread evenly into your pan and bake for 20 – 25 minutes.
