Rye Applesauce Flatbread

3 tbsp 3 Maine Grains Organic Rye Flour
2 tbsp 2 applesauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl – it will be sticky – use one hand to keep the other hand clean/dry. If mixing on a board be sure to flour the surface
- Cook in a very hot pan on the stovetop for a couple of minutes.
- OR Bake on a cookie sheet or iron pan in a hot oven – for a couple of minutes. It will balloon like a pita.
- As a variation, use any fruit or vegetable pulp/puree in place of the applesauce.
